The majority of us girls out there love our makeup! There is only one problem, we might be loving it a little too much. We grow up being told "not yet" by our parents and then Poof! All of a sudden we are allowed to wear it and we go crazy using it! It is a mistake that is made by many young stars and just us regular girls in general. Even though you think that it will make you look older, clogging up your pores with foundation and stuff won't help. If you are going to wear makeup, please follow these general guidelines! They make life much easier and won't have you looking back at your pictures from when you were a teen in horror.
1. There is a difference between pretty and dress-up: A little goes a long way!
2. Easy on the mascara: Too much mascara will make you look fake.
3. Color clash: Don't wear bright eyeshadow and bright lipstick together! Wear one or the other so that it's not overwhelming.
4. The commandment of foundation and bronzer: "Though shalt not put all over thy face." Don't do it! Too much foundation will make you look like you have been sick and too much bronzer makes you look like pumpkin pie.
5. The eyeliner diaries: DO NOT apply a thick amount of eyeliner! Please, I beg of you! Just apply a little bit right above your eyelashes.
I hope that these tips help! Please make sure to comment with any tips and suggestions that you have!

Being Fall Ready
We all see the leaves changing, see a couple of snow-flurries, and feel that crisp and chilly weather coming on. But what else is happening that we don't even realize until it's too late? Dry and cracked hands, chapped lips, and the cold and flu are just some examples of what is happening during this beautiful time of year. Although some of the things that I will be mentioning are no-brainer decisions, I hope that they help someone out there!
1. Moisturize: Use thicker hand lotions and body-lotions in the fall and winter to better lock in moisture.
2. Always keep something to put on your lips handy. Weather it be chap-stick, lipbalm, lipstick, or lipgloss, just make sure that you are using something!
3. To Protect your body from sickness try these things. Drink plenty of water, have Airborne whenever you feel that dreaded flu/cold feeling coming on, wash your hands regularly, use hand-sanitizer, wash your bedding regularly, keep your house clean, and don't put your hands in your mouth or eyes or nose!
I hope that this helps! Please let me know what you think!

You are Beautiful!
Beauty isn't about the latest fashion trends, how much you weigh, the color of your skin, or makeup. Beauty is about who you are inside. If you have a good heart, then that is all that matters! Be who you are, not who others want you to be. If you like blue instead of hot pink, short hair instead of long, or sweat pants instead of jeans don't let people tell you that you are dumb or stupid just because you don't measure up to their standards.
People who judge you are not your friends. Always remember that you are perfect and beautiful no matter what!

Skin care
Today I would like to talk about skin care. Everyone gets acne but here are some tips on how to prevent and treat it.
1. Wash the makeup off your face before going to bed. When the makeup is left on, it clogs up the pores and irritates the skin. You might think"oh well, I'm just to tired to wash it off." Don't let this stop you, because otherwise, chances are that you will wake up with a zit or two.
2. Use one of those spinning brushes along with your favorite face wash twice a day . You know, the kind that you see on tv or at JcPenny. Trust me they work really well!
(I got mine at Justice)
3. I suggest buying some skin healthy makeup off of Etsy.com because lots of makeup is bad for your skin.
Thanks for reading, and please make sure to comment with any skin care tips you have!

Hair Care
Here are some tips on hair care.
1. When curling or straightening make sure to use hair protector spray.
2. Always use conditioner when you are in the shower.
3. Don't yank on your hair when you are brushing it! Instead, pull it apart gently with your fingers.
4. Don't let it get out of control. If you feel your hair getting tangled brush it immediately!
I hope these tips help, and don't forget to comment with your hair care instructions!

Stress
Here are some tips on feeling less stressed.
1. take a hot bath at the end of the day. I usually light some candles, listen to music, or read a book while doing this. Also, if the intensity of your bathroom lights cannot be adjusted use a lamp instead.
2. watch your favorite movie. Nothing with too much action in it though because that might make you even more stressed.
3. knit, sew, or crochet. It is very relaxing and enjoyable!
4. drink a hot cup of tea.
5. Turn off all of your lights before going to bed. Just open the blinds a little to allow some of the moonlight into your room. This will help you sleep better.
I hope that these little tips help, and please make sure to comment if you have any more suggestions!
